Terms of Use for Maia

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Maia platform ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Eligibility

• Users must be licensed childcare providers in the United States or Canada

• Users must be at least 18 years old

• Users must have the authority to make purchasing decisions for their organization

3. Account Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account

• You must provide accurate and current information

• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

• One account per childcare center location

4. Platform Usage

Permitted Use:

• Purchasing supplies for your childcare center

• Accessing discounts and promotions

• Managing orders and tracking deliveries

• Communicating with suppliers through our platform

Prohibited Use:

• Reselling products purchased through Maia

• Sharing account access with non-registered users

• Misrepresenting your organization

• Attempting to manipulate prices or savings

• Using the platform for personal purchases

5. Pricing and Payments

• All prices are shown in USD/CAD

• Prices may change without notice

• Payment terms are subject to approval

• You agree to pay all charges incurred through your account

• Refunds are subject to supplier policies

6. Privacy and Data

• We collect and use data as described in our Privacy Policy

• You maintain ownership of your organization's data

• We do not sell individual center purchasing data

• Aggregate, anonymized data may be used for platform improvements

7. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service

• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features

• Maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible

8. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

• Remove users who abuse the platform

• Close accounts with extended periods of inactivity

9. Liability

• Products are sold by third-party suppliers

• We do not warrant product quality or availability

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid through our platform

10. Changes to Terms

• We may update these terms at any time

• Continued use constitutes acceptance of new terms

• Major changes will be communicated via email
